Work Adjustment Program (WAP)

The objective of this class is to promote independence through the acquisition of skills in the area of personal clothing care.  Students will practice sorting, pre-treatment, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and storage and mending of clothing items.  Group training sessions, as well as, one-on-one training will be utilized.

The Work Adjustment Program (WAP) is designed to improve work-related behavior and habits.  There are classroom plus hands-on components.  This program prepares individuals for job training, improves job readiness and enhances interpersonal skills needed to become successfully employed.
