Work Adjustment Program (WAP)

This class is part of the Center’s Work Adjustment Program and is an open-ended pre-vocational class.  The students are taught money management skills that will assist them with becoming knowledgeable and wise consumers.  Also information about citizenship, home management, and community living arrangements will be taught as part of the class.

The Work Adjustment Program (WAP) is designed to improve work-related behavior and habits.  There are classroom plus hands-on components.  This program prepares individuals for job training, improves job readiness and enhances interpersonal skills needed to become successfully employed.
