Laundry Services: Washers and dryers are provided free of charge on each floor. Please bring your own detergent and laundry basket.
Banking Services: If you bring money for personal use such as vending machines, shopping trips, etc., you should bring money orders or certified checks. Personal checks will not be cashed.
Appliances: You may have TV’s, VCR’s, DVD, game systems, electric razors, hair dryers, stereos, desk lamps and clocks. You can have a small refrigerator and small microwave. Note:, that CDPVTC cannot transport refrigerators.
You May Not Have: Hot plates, toasters, electric grills, electric blankets, electric hair clippers, knives, fireworks, explosives, illegal drugs or alcohol. Pets are not allowed. You may have an aquarium (for fish only), but it can’t be larger then 3 gallon.
Clothing: You may wear jeans, slacks, sweaters, shirts, shorts, or dresses (of appropriate length) on campus and to class (if it is in accordance with classroom rules… Please check with the instructor of the class you plan to attend). You may also want to bring clothes appropriate for church, parties and recreational activities.
Medication: You must bring medication in the bottle in which it was prescribed. You need to bring a two week supply, as this will allow time for refills. Do not bring pill organizers or sample medications that are not accompanied by a physician’s orders.
Medical Insurance: You must bring your medical insurance card or a copy of the card. This includes private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid.
Student Vehicles: You may drive a personal or family vehicle. We do not assume any liability for the vehicle. You will be given a copy of the Student Vehicle Policy Regulations upon arrival.
Visitors: You may have visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm. Center staff must approve all other visits. |
