Work Adjustment Program (WAP)

MISSION

Students will acquire skills and knowledge necessary for entry-level employment in the printing industry.

ADMISSION QUALIFICATIONS

Standing for prolonged periods of time, lifting 25 lds frequently and 50 lds occasionally, walking, stooping and bending are required.  The student should also demonstrate the ability to: work independently and follow multi-step instructions; have vision sufficient to read copy set gauges, opaque copy, etc.; manipulate materials and operate presses

The Work Adjustment Program (WAP) is designed to improve work-related behavior and habits.  There are classroom plus hands-on components.  This program prepares individuals for job training, improves job readiness and enhances interpersonal skills needed to become successfully employed.
