CDPVTC students needing job placement services.

PROGRAM GOALS
To assist CDPVTC students in transitioning to the community and finding employment opportunities.

PROGRAM DEFINITION

The Job Placement unit provides job placement services to CDPVTC consumers.

PROGRAM FEATURES

The Job Placement unit seeks to assist CDPVTC  consumers in preparing for transition from the Center and locating, acquiring and maintaining employment in a career of their choice.  Various contemporary job placement techniques are utilized.  This includes the preparing adults for Competitive Employment (PACE) program, which places students in jobs at local community businesses and pays the consumer a wage for a limited number of hours.  This provides the consumer with opportunities to gain real work skills in an integrated setting.
