PROGRAM OBJECTIVE The objective of the Computer Basics I class is to give those students who lack reading skills the opportunity to become familiar with basic computer operations and to develop and awareness of the role of computers in today’s society. PROGRAM SCOPE This class is limited to very basic introductory skills. It is the intent of this class to prepare students to perform basic computer tasks for personal use. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Included in this class will be care of the computer, computer safety, computer components, basics windows operations, the use of the word processor to prepare a personal letterhead, enter text, and some basic editing procedures. |
