Table for TWO

“Table for Two” Valentine Dinner

 

Students of CDPVTC had the opportunity to enter their name and the name of their guest in a drawing for a “Table for Two” Valentine Dinner.  Ten tables were available for two students and one table was available for four students.  The couples/friends enjoying their Valentine evening together were Julia, Nick, Alicia and Donigale, Ariane, and DeAngelo, Kara and Brock, Jennifer and Jonathan, Bridgette and Terry, Jennifer and Steven, Elizabeth and Joey, Diane and Spencer, Tiffany and Shane, Shayla and Daniel, and Felisha and Gerard.

 

Reservations were required for the Valentine Dinner at the “Courtyard Cafe”.  Guests were announced by Kathy Thacker and then they had a photo op with Betta Morrison.  The Couples were seated at their “Table for Two” and served a steak dinner by staff members at the “Courtyard Café”.  The staff hosts and hostesses for the evening were Frank “Gifford” Truitt, Derek Allen, Janet Mullins, Betta Morrison, and Nancy Orem.

 

Each couple received the centerpiece from  their table, a long stemmed red rose in a bud vase, and a gift for each young lady which was a part of the table decoration, along with candies - chocolate, of course.  Background music was a part of the ambiance as the couples sipped sparkling cider served at their table as they enjoyed one another’s company.

 

As the couples were leaving the Courtyard Café they thanked the staff for a delightful evening where they could spend quiet time together.  The staff agreed that knowing the students enjoyed our combined efforts made the whole event worthwhile.

 

A spring event is already on the minds of those who were involved with a very successful

“Table for Two” Valentine Dinner.
